Panov Vyacheslav

A painter from Kharkov Vyatcheslav Panov has been working in the genre of urban landscape for about thirty years. For him the city is a living, breathing organism which impresses in its image the life experiece of generations of people, historical and cultural wisdom. The are no "non-aesthetical" landscapes for Vyatcheslav Panov. In depicting uncomely constructions, which can be found in many of his canvases, the author has captured their long life and hard destiny. Colour, light and air which are present in his artistic pieced open up a new angle in the city's specificity. Melted into a complete whole in the canvas, they produse an impression of freshness and life dynamics. The image of the city's architecture in the works of Vyatcheslav Panov is delicately tuned to the light and air medium into which it is embedded.
